I am Currently a Senior at Williamson College of the Trades in Media, PA. During my first summer internship (June 2018- August 2018) I was painting logos and lines on basketball courts in Maryland, Baltimore and throughout Pennsylvania. For my second internship I worked at Stuart Dean in Baileys Crossroads, VA. I served as field technician and learned the ins-and outs from how the company runs and how to perfect a job from start to finish. We worked mainly in Washington D.C restoring the stone, metal, and wood in historic buildings. Jobs we worked on include: The Trump Hotel, the Smithsonian, the National Archives building, Homeland Security Headquarters and many more unique places.Throughout my three years attending Williamson, I learned everything there is to know about the painting industry. So I used that to my advantage and started up my own side company. I handed out business cards throughout multiple neighborhoods and created a Facebook page showing all of my previous work and a place for people to leave reviews. I took every job I completed and looked at each one as a learning experience.
