I have been given a team of 10 terrific, hand selected new employees to work with for the next few months. I have been teaching them all I know about the product line as well a number of soft skills needed. The employees are currently taking calls from existing and prospective customers and having conversations with the customer to uncover their needs I have been providing coaching, best practices as well as helping them discover their own brand. This has been less work and more like fun!

I have had the opportunity to move around a bit. I was hired in October 2011 to assist existing and prospective customers with their "Homestead" websites. While assisting them, I would look over their site and make recommendations on improving the flow of the site or content. Additional services were suggested and sold if needed. It was a great job. The company decided to close that division and I was laid off on that Friday with an offer to apply to a new position the following Monday. This new position dealt with the QuickBooks side of the Intuit family of products. For several months I helped customers convert from the older version of QuickBooks to a more recent version. This is affectionately known as Disco. No silver ball is involved!Now that Disco is winding down, I am traversing to a new area of Intuit. This is the supplies division. This would entail providing the physical checks companies use, and all the "stuff" that goes with it. I'm looking forward to helping out in my new position.Well I've been at my new position for a little over three years.I ranked as Top Sales for FY 2014. I am the Top Sales producer 1st and 3nd Qtr. FY 2015. Received multiple awards for best new product and services through quarterly “idea jam”. Recipient of the “Short list” award winner five times. Awarded for designing a non-software dependent check printing template to assist sales. Worked with engineers and peers to create the next generation check fulfillment software for company-wide distribution. Provided Voice Artist services for numerous Intuit training decks. • Worked directly with new hires top help them succeed! I am the male voice of Intuit supplies during regular business hours (866-570-3842). I also created a quick link web page for sales floor to use to access links throughout the Intuit sites.
