Served apprenticeship with Keenan Brothers, Bagenalstown as turner from 1966 until 1971. Worked as turner in Aeronautical and General Instruments, Croyden 1971 and 1972, Irwin an Partners, Croyden in 1972 as turner, Louis Newark , hydraulic division 1972 until end of 73 manufacturing hydraulic cylinders.Returned to Ireland end of 73 and formed partnership with four Byrne brothers to form Burnside Engineering who manufacture hydraulic cylinders. Split with Burnside in 75 to set up my own machine shop. We do CNC milling, CNC turning, gear and spline cutting, cylindrical and surface grinding. We do short run production and one off parts for many types of industry.I am married with 2 daughters.My interests include gliding, cycling and hill walking
