The position required me to work in unison with the Glass Presser to ensure temperature, dimensions, color, and overall quality was within tolerances. As a selector it was also important to manage when the glass needed to be moved from the production floor into the heating / annealing lehr within the allotted time to ensure correct hardness and color.
