Emergency Management Program Manager
Current- Oversees the systemwide Emergency Management and Preparedness program for three acute care hospitals and several outpatient/ambulatory locations in Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
- Serves as chair of the interdisciplinary Emergency Management Committee, participates as a member of the Environment of Care Committee, and may be assigned to participate on or chair one or more subcommittees.
- Develops, reviews and updates policies, procedures, and plans related to emergency management (including mass casualty, chemical, biological, radiological, severe weather, evacuation, mass fatality, etc.) as needed.
- Coordinates planning and execution of drills including development of drill scenarios, communications to management in preparation for drills, coordination of victim volunteers, coordination with participating.
- Facilitates compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, Public Health, infection control, safety and other regulatory standards/guidelines related to emergency management.
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with community response agencies including Fire, EMS, Police, Public Health, Emergency Management, etc. Attends emergency management related meetings with multiple.
