About Christopher Myers

I am a Certified Information Systems Security Professional with a Top Secret Security Clearance, and currently am the Directory of Cybersecurity for the Indiana Air National Guard. Although I've lived at several locations around the globe, I'm a Hoosier at heart, having grown up just northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana.I've always loved cybersecurity and Information Technology, and am blessed that my personal hobbies and professional career finally align with one-another. I've had the opportunity to develop apps, participate in IT and Operational Technology full-scale exercises, write and present cybersecurity legislation, accomplish asset and configuration management, and supervise a high-quality staff that's constantly resolving trouble tickets while also strategically planning for future infrastructure growth. In the order of importance, my values are wisdom, integrity, and fellowship, and I desire to work for organizations and supervisors that also hold these same values in high esteem.I am a graduate of Indiana University (for both my Masters and Bachelors) and have worked in long-term healthcare, the transportation industry, and the military. I have served in the Indiana Air National Guard for almost two decades and am currently the rank of Major within the organization. My previous roles include Director of Personnel, Deputy Director of International Programs, and Chief of Public Affairs in the Indiana National Guard, as well as Communications Director for the Indiana Department of Transportation. In my time as a professional communicator, I have (in an official capacity) hosted a multitude of distinguished visitors, including Governors, Mayors, Senators, Representatives, Generals, Foreign Chiefs of Defense, Foreign Ambassadors, the US Secretary of Defense, and US Ambassadors. I have presented press conferences, open houses, and town halls for several organizations. In my free time, I write both fiction and non-fiction, develop and test tabletop board games and social deduction games, and manage my personal website Aquilitz.com, where I post my research into subjects I find interesting.
