The earth has always been my one true passion. As a child I would receive unsatisfactory answers from my parents about where mountains come from and why certain rocks look the way they do. When I was old enough I decided to do something about it and began my undergraduate studies in geology. I graduated with First Class Honours in 2014 before continuing down the academic road and completing my postgraduate studies with a PhD in 2020, specialising in sedimentology, stratigraphy, petrography, and U-Pb geochronology. Since 2021 I have been continuing my earth science career with a contracted exploration geology position in coal mining out of Central Queensland, with expertise in core and chip logging, coal quality, and historical data management.
