• Day to day management of internal team and large contractor workforce• Management of annual appraisal process including feedback and career development• First point of contact for clients requiring safety critical and isolation works• Managing and training of planners to NWR standards• Resource management of multi skilled overhead line workforce• Supply and project manage the service of isolation planning to clients and internal departments as required; meeting standards required to work on the Network Rail Infrastructure• Manage and assign resource to client jobs based on skill levels and qualifications• Responsible for Safe System of Work (SSOW) Planning in line with planned isolations• On call manager responsible for emergency isolation planning tasks, including on site implementation of isolations• Ensure all service-related documentation is continuously monitored and updated as required to meet standards and pass audits• Monitor all relevant Health and Safety standards and update risk assessments and documentation as required• Write risk assessments to identify, avoid, mitigate, and reduce all observed and anticipated risks• Provide pricing for external clients based on skill levels and available resources for required tasks • Responsible for all Isolation planning duties for internal and external clients • Liaising with NWR planning team and all other Isolation providers • Create all Isolation Detail and Planning Forms (IDFs & IPFs)• Advise clients on possible solutions as to their required isolation• Possession Planner, using the PPS system and Rules of the Route planning tables to co-ordinate line blockages• Nominated Person, Resource Management
