Thames shipping is a maritime company which ships aggregate in the form of sand and stone, supplying the cement Industry in London and surrounding areas. This was my second time employed with Thames Shipping after returning from 2 years of travel. I was mate and watchkeeper in charge of navigating the vessel as well as loading and discharge duties.

Siem Reap, Cambodia

I was a volunteer working with young adults in a rural village 10km outside of Siem Reap, Cambodia. A community of villages of which had very little. I worked with my fiancee in a self help community centre ran by and incredible local man called Sambaht. We worked with young adults to build their self-esteem, work on projects to improve the community and improve their English, they also taught us so much about the value of life, family and community.

I was a part of the marine team on the £600 million regeneration project of Blackfriars bridge in central London. Initially as work boat skipper I progressed to marine logistics manager, organising the crew and being part of the project management of marine operations on the site.
