Class A Driver

I am responsible for safely operating chemical / liquid tanker trailers used to deliver and transport chemicals of all types both hazardous and non hazardous products. I am a local / regional driver primarily focused on supporting our over the road drivers by pre-loading trailers at customer locations along the Houston Gulf Coast and positioning those loaded trailers in a location for the OTR driver to pickup and transport to the customer. My position is unique because the work I perform supports our road drivers by saving them time and money so their loads are ready to go when they arrive in Houston.I am also responsible for occasionally delivering loads in the Houston area in a "final mile" type capacity which also saves our road drivers time and money because they can get back on the road fast while I complete the delivery for them.When I am not pre loading or delivering loads I am responsible for making sure our trailer assets are documented by performing yard checks on our available trailers and communicating that information with our office support staff.I also shuttle trailers to and from customer locations around southeast Texas and Houston specifically to the tank wash so they can be cleaned and prepped for the next load.I am also flexible and perform other assignments as requested.

OTR / Regional class A driving position where I hauled industrial carbon for use in wastewater and chemical applications. I safely operated pneumatic trailers, flatbed trailers and dry van trailers to transport new or spent carbon to job sites along all of the East Coast and regionally around Texas and surrounding states. I was responsible for assisting customers and field service reps in the unloading of the product at the job sites. Extensive experience operating in industrial and chemical plant facilities. Extensive and heavy focus on safety training.
