Christopher is currently the Development Director of FusionHit, a top nearshore software development company with offices in Los Angeles California and development center in Costa Rica.As the company's Development Director, Christopher's role is to ensure that the FusionHit business mission is successfully executed, particularly through the development and deployment of the company's web presence. To do this, Christopher envisions the company's service offerings as a purely web-based business, with his main tasks including leading implementation of web applications, as well as planning for both risk and growth in the future.Among Christopher's wide-ranging responsibilities as FusionHit's Development Director, he: ► Sets the tone, best practices and strategy for technical operations across the company, including in areas such as coding, architecture and scaling.► Makes final tech decisions by taking on board the best recommended advice of the company's most skilled engineers.► Builds team morale throughout the company by ensuring members of staff are happy, motivated, fit, fed, trained and focused.► Established and supervises the company's software development process by setting short-term objectives and assesses progress defined by the selected software development methodology.► Promotes the necessary coding conventions and documentation standards throughout the company.► Conducts code reviews and specification conformance testing, as defined by the company's selected software development methodology.► Established and supervises the company's quality assurance process.► Ensures technology standards and best practices are maintained throughout the organization.► Supervises the company's recruitment, training, retention and organization of all development staff in accordance with the FusionHit hiring process, as well as its personnel policies and budget requirements.

Christopher also successfully developed a risk management web application system called Synergy for Costa Rican government institutions. The system leads to significant savings being made in both time and money, and avoids corruption by managing the operational/external risks of the institution. On this project, Christopher was responsible for developing the product in ASP.NET with C#, Marketing and Sales. Synergy software was selected by government institutions across Costa Rica because of its ability to seamlessly adapt to their unique risk management methodologies, and provide the flexibility to evolve their risk and compliance processes over time. Synergy provides a highly configurable solution that supports organisations' specific enterprise risk management methodology and spares them from having to write their own custom code. The result of using the risk management web application system developed by Christopher is that companies can embed risk management into the business and improve their outcomes over time.

Served the company as both Project Lead and .Net Developer. Christopher worked on a team that designed and developed an n-tier application that handled entry, authorization and reporting on various types of healthcare related transactions. Christopher also successfully implemented functionality in the company's web-based applications and services using Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET 3.5, C#, AJAX, jQuery, Linq, and SQL Server 2008 in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Worked as a .NET Developer and Technical Leader on a patented .NET web application product named TSYS ProphIT. Process driven workflow application TSYS ProphIT supports process management for credit card functionality management. Christopher help developed the product and it was subsequently deployed to over 10,000 end users at multiple credit card companies, including Royal Bank of Scotland, Providian Financial/Washington Mutual, Navy Federal Credit Union, Capital One, Bank of Ireland, Nordstrom FSB and Royal Bank of Scotland US/Citizens Bank. Internal TSYS call centres also embraced TSYS ProphIT.
