● Represent charitable, religious, and nonprofit organizations in matters relating to development, philanthropic planning, corporate governance, donor advised funds, endowments, and complex gifts;● Represent individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations in matters related to commercial transactions, bankruptcy, real estate, corporate law, business litigation, and corporate law ● Represent commercial banks, credit unions and other lenders in connection with loan workouts, bankruptcy debt restructurings and corporate reorganizations.● Provide counsel to creditors, banks, financial institutions, debtors, creditors and trustees in all matters relating to bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12 and 13 bankruptcy petitions, creditors’ remedies, out-of-court workouts, and related bankruptcy litigation such as preferential and fraudulent transfer litigation.

● Researched and wrote legal memoranda for lead attorneys involved in a courts-martial case in which a West Point cadet was charged with rape; drafted response motions to judge regarding discovery, mental health records, and deposition requests in rape case; ● Drafted legal memoranda to West Point professors regarding copyright of faculty scholarship; ● Prepared interview questions and conducted interviews with witnesses regarding $5 million tort lawsuit against the US Military Academy

● Researched, wrote and submitted legal briefs in support of claim for asylum to the federal immigration court; filed USCIS immigration forms for asylum and immigrant clients including I-485 Adjustment of Status applications, G-325A Biometric Information; ● Helped develop and implement Minnesota Advocates’ new faith-based initiative by researching and compiling a legal immigration resource binder for church workers titled “Faith Communities and Immigration: Practical Information for the Christian Advocate” for related adjoining seminar which provided church workers practical information in assisting immigrants
