Two weeks as deckhand on a transport vessel in the Gulf of Mexico, then 2 weeks as engineer on the same vessel. Various maintenance tasks. Rigging on the deck for loading personnel and equipment. Engine work on k39 and generators as needed. Housekeeping and upkeep inside and out of the vessel. Mooring and departing of dock. Also whatever odd job may come about as needed.

Getting desired area where concrete is to be laid to grade and building forms to pour concrete in. Grade by removing or adding dirt as necessary. Leveling area. Installing wire or re-bar as required, depending on thhe circumstance. Helping finishers get wet concrete where it needs to be. Getting tools and minor edge finishing.

Everything home related. Remodel, tile install, dry wall, roofing, window install, flooring, minor electrical, etc. Touched into everything. Was a great experience. The hours and pay is the only reason I did not stay.
