Founding Principal of Al Muna School, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates , built up new school from startup to capacity of 550 NOR.

£1.3 million amalgamation, re-build and launch of a new primary school. Worked closely with Architects,Contractors and building services personnel in order to help deliver project on time.Described by Ofsted as providing "inspirational leadership".Also managed the inception,governance and launch of new childcare centre, including the re-modelling of the old infant school. In addition was founding member and Chairperson for confederation of 16 schools.

Worked with team to develop a successful school that was in the top 10% nationally. Raised educational standards to the highest levels for the school in a decade. Described by Ofsted as having " very good " leadership style. Began as Deputy in 2000 and appointed as Head in 2002

Introduced systems that led to an increase in SATS results of 20% from the previous year.

Literacy Co-ordinator; piloted new materials for the Literacy hour and implemented them throughout the school.Also involved as a Teacher Governor.
