I don’t work in cyber security. I live it. I’m a technologist at heart. Since I was a little kid I’ve been toying with computers, networks and the technologies surrounding them. That passion grew, and I’ve directed it into a prosperous career in cybersecurity and digital forensics. Organizations across the globe have put their faith in me. I’ve worked with law enforcement at the federal and state level and I’ve testified for some of the top law firms across the United States. That trust continues into my current position where I’m responsible for all cybersecurity for the United States and Canada at one of the largest employers in the world.That trust didn’t just materialize out of thin air. I’ve been immersed in this for over a decade, and I’ve adapted to the never ending changes in our technology driven world. I've used my in depth knowledge of technology to educate leaders, influence stakeholders, and strengthen defenses against the most sophisticated cyber-attacks threatening corporate America today. I anticipate the needs of those I serve while never forgetting the tactics and motivations of potential attackers. My time in this career has afforded me the ability to balance business practicality with the need for security. These things are often on a collision course, but I’ve successfully navigated that challenge time and time again.
