I represent more than 700,000 people who are suffering with 24 different chronic conditions, and these numbers are growing daily. My role is to facilitate partnerships with organizations who value the patient voice as long as those engagements align with our social responsibility to our members; can we be transparent and does it empower our membership? We know that an actively engaged user has better health outcomes when sharing ideas with other members suffering with the same chronic conditions. The de-identified insights extracted from these interactions can help organizations learn more about the patients they serve to better support their communication efforts towards these communities. I work with large Pharmaceutical clients to develop a patient recruitment and retention strategy in order to keep clinical trials within their desired timeframes. Currently, over 80% of all trials take longer than anticipated because of recruitment challenges. Utilizing a massive database of individuals who have self reported indications with their willingness to participate coupled with predictive analytics from past performance, we can determine the actual cost of obtaining the desired quantity of patients within a given timeframe utilizing the appropriate tactics per therapeutic area. Our sponsors can then budget against the effort while being confident in the timelines realizing millions in market potential per compound.

I am a Senior Field Client Sales Executive for Allscripts; a clinical software company offering an open, integrated portfolio of healthcare information technology solutions for hospitals, physician practices, and post-acute organizations. I work with strategic clients to find ways to increase the physician adoption of our clinical software, make sure clients have the right infrastructure to support our systems and help clients be compliant with the ever changing regulatory environment of healthcare.

My role at HealthPort was a new business sales position in the Northeast with a focus on larger healthcare facilities. I worked with Finance and HIM to streamline the Release of Information process with a focus on cost, quality and automation. We also provide tools to track audits and provide financial risk summaries so that Healthcare facilities can identify shortfalls and mitigate future audits.
