I am a qualified Social Worker and Practice Educator. I currently work for Southwark Children’s Services in the Safeguarding and Family Support service. This involves carrying out long term safeguarding supporting families in different frameworks such as child protection, child in need, PLO and care proceedings/court work from initial to final hearing. I also have experience working within Private Family Law proceedings completing Section 7 and Section 37 reports. My previous experience was working in a long term safeguarding and short term assessment service in Sutton Childrens Services. I have also worked in children with disabilities teams in Sutton and Lambeth. I have experience completing court statements for DOLS and care proceedings. I also have experience in completing comprehensive parenting assessments as part of court and child protection work. I qualified as a Practice Educator from the University of East London in September 2024.
