I offer individualized support and constructive feedback to help students develop clinical competence, critical thinking, and clinical judgment. I foster confidence in their abilities by integrating theory with practical skills and helping them navigate complex patient care situations.I conduct clinical evaluations, assessing students' performance in areas such as clinical skills, communication, and professionalism. Through feedback and assessments, I identify areas for improvement and provide guidance. I collaborate with fellow faculty members to maintain consistent evaluation standards and ensure quality nursing education.Additionally, I contribute to curriculum development, engage in professional development activities, and stay updated with advancements in nursing practice. As a practice nurse, my role in the primary care setting was crucial in providing comprehensive healthcare services. My clinical skills played a significant role in delivering quality care to patients. I conducted thorough health assessments, including medical histories, vital signs measurements, and physical examinations. These assessments helped me identify potential health conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.I had a vital role in managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension. Collaborating with patients, I developed personalized care plans and provided education on self-management. Administering medications, conducting routine tests, and monitoring patients' progress were among my responsibilities.Wound care and dressings were also within my expertise. I also conducted cervical cytology tests and sexual health screening. I also played a crucial role in health promotion and education by offering guidance on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and healthy habits.During emergencies, I was trained to handle acute situations and provide stabilization until further medical assistance was available. I performed various clinical procedures such as blood collection and diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and efficient healthcare delivery.Shortly before progressing my career, I was selected for the role of Lead Practice nurse for my Primary Care Network.

As a nurse on an acute respiratory ward, I played a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic respiratory conditions. I closely monitored their respiratory status, administered medications and therapies, administered non invasive ventilation and developed individualized care plans. I educated patients about their conditions, offered emotional support, and advocated for their needs. Collaboration with the medical team was crucial, and I worked closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. It was a challenging yet rewarding role to be at the forefront of care during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK.
