Managing and responsible for training up to 200 MHE staff nationally, most days bring a variety of experiences and challenges. The role has evolved significantly from day one. What was in place gave a good foundation to what I have created since. Always looking at the development of new and existing processes to benefit the business. The role is varied and very demanding but every sucess for the team is rewarding.

With nearly 30 years of experience and training since 2007, ABLE Tuition offers both basic and refresher training for new or established operators of M.H.E and F.L.T equipment.With a variety of plant and fork lift training programmes, as well as other M.H.E training available, ABLE will provide professional tutelage for all levels of skill and knowledge.

• Leading a team of 15 people in 4 departments over a variety of shifts. • Responsible for recruiting, training, mentoring, team briefs, Tool Box Talks, Quality Control, Health and Safety, C.I. updates and managing performance.• Responsible for all outwork requisitions, despatches, receipts, lab testing, system entry and locating of yarns, both internally made and purchased.• Raising purchase orders for Worsted yarns and outwork dying of in house yarns.• Responsible for the stock control of yarns and equipment resulting in a 60% reduction of bought in worsted yarns and a 90% reduction of aged stock through identifying other avenues and implementing a F.I.F.O. system. • Project managed a reduction of winding waste from 7% to 2% by creating individual product and shift testing and servicing of equipment.• Raising maintenance requests close call reporting and organising external service visits.• Process managed bi-annual stock takes, this included: managing the team, processes, counts, auditing, data entry and posting stock to update the system.• Created individual stock locations to better identify and locate stock resulting in a faster, streamlined working practice.• Supported the integration of a new business in line with existing floor plans and processes and created additional storage for new stock holding. This was a nine month project and involved migrating stock and equipment from Scotland and embedding new processes.• Provided analytical, system and data support for other departments.• Creation of Microsoft Excel spread sheets for KPI’s, statistics and Data processing/analysis.• Juno system operator including identifying requirements and working with the developers to create system transactions.
