Lead Outreach Smoking Cessation Adviser - My job role is to lead a team of staff to help deliver a stop smoking service to the county of Nottinghamshire alongside the NHS to reach a target of 52 quits a week, me and my team go out to the community in specially designated vans to make us more accessible and reach out to clients that may find it difficult going to a GP or Hospital based clinic. I advice on how to stop smoking using my CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) training and help identify triggers for clients smoking habits and also providing NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy) alongside to achieve maximum effectiveness in this role. My job as Outreach Lead requires that i go over the teams paper work to ensure it has been filled out and filed correctly. I also have to get permission to use various sites across the county and plan and organise bigger events (Stoptober, Non-smoking day). I also hold team meetings and individual one to one's to hear all problems and make work as enjoyable and as efficient as possible. I also am in charge of maintaining and driving two 3.5 tonne mobile clinics.

My job role was to oversee staff and ensure the pub ran smoothly and was looked after. I would complete staff rotas and designate staff roles on bus days. I would complete stock takes and weekly orders to maintain a level of products that would be needed, ordering to what is expected of busier weeks (Christmas, Bank holidays etc.,). Dealing with complaints and problems that may arise from staff or customers, and imposing bans on customers that broke the law or caused excessive trouble. ID'ing customers and overseeing young staff when behind the bar. Hiring and firing staff and holding team meetings with staff to ensure a high quality of service was maintained. Booking in and checking out guests that were staying in the rooms and organising with kitchen staff food and bookings for guests and walk ins. Cashing up and maintaining floats withing each of the three tills and logging hours worked by independent staff. I would also have to change barrels, receive orders and line clean weekly. My job also required me to train staff and ensure all health and safety standards were met.

My job role here was to introduced and show potential clients around and explain prices and what we can offer. Cleaning and maintaining gym equipment throughout the day when available. The largest apart of my job was inducting new members and developing a fitness programme based on there needs and wants and seeing clients every 4 - 6 weeks for follow ups to alter or change programs and monitor progress. I would also cover the instruction of Circuit training and Boxercise classes when needed. I would also take payments for gym memberships and products and set up direct debits.

Bartender - My job role was to open up the bar in the morning and ensure the floats were all correct. In the evening my job was to close down, clean, cash up and ensure all floats where correct. I would have to deliver table service of drinks to customers seated within the restaurant, while also serving walk ins and other guests. I would also have to change barrels and clean lines when needed to, and train new staff in their roles and how to complete certain tasks. Waiter - My job role was to provide table service and understand the menu and answer any questions asked of me such as allergies, food options (Vegan, Lactose intolerant etc.,), and have a wide knowledge of wines and beers. I was also placed on a wine tasting course, to understand and recommended wines. clearing tables and taking payment at the end of meals was also a par of my role.

R.A.F Brize Norton, Oxfordshire

As a lifeguard i oversaw and ensured the safety of swimmers using the pool during public swimming and during lessons (Children and Adults). Cleaning of pool, pool area and changing rooms. I would also rotate with other lifeguards to work the front desk and take payments and bookings with customers and parents for sessions and lessons.As a swimming teacher i would work very young children to improve confidence in the water and learn basics so that they could develop and as they grow join the older groups with the knowledge and confidence to learn to swim at a high level. I worked with the older groups also to develop there swimming abilities and build on the foundations that we taught them in the younger groups. we would also undergo monthly training in first aid and to recap and refresh what to do in emergencies such as spinal injury, recovery of drowning customers and general first aid. we would also do a fitness swimming test every three months to ensure we were fit and strong enough of a swimmer to do our jobs effectively and safely.
