At the time, we didn't have a Release Manager, so I was effectively also in charge of ensuring all our release candidates where ready every sprint and would facilitate the deployments of each release to Pre-Prod and Production.In my 2nd year as a Release Train Engineer, we hired SAFe coaches at VF and I was certified in Leading SAFe and as a SAFe Release Train Engineer. At which point, we stood up a new ART. I coached our Product and Scrum Teams and built our Agile Guidelines, which is a document that anyone on or off the train can see exactly our process from standing up a new train to facilitating an Inspect and Adapt.I'm spending my 3rd year as a Release Train Engineer, now been asked to take what I've built for our train and stand up a new ART, based on a switch to a regional model.- I have three other RTE's that I mentor and partner with with regards to running the other ART's. - I've established a COP with our SM's and lead through metrics- I've established a LACE (Lean Agile Center of Excellence) with peers from our Training org. -
