Opperation Manager Of Radiation Therapy
Current-Manage a staff of 28 Radiation Therapist with five Linacs, a CyberKnife, CT sims, IORT and one HDR in a 125 patients a day clinic- Oversee payroll, employee scheduling, patient scheduling, and clinic needs-Work closely with other managers to maintain and improve hospital standards -Provide excellent daily treatment for patients using Elekta, Siemens (Oncor & Artiste) and Varian Clinacs with IGRT capability (Brain Lab, Calypso, Vision RT, MV &Kv Cone Beam CT,CyberKnife trained. -Conduct simulation procedures using Vision RT, Philips CT configuration, Ximatron, Acuity, GE- CT/PET, AQSim, Phips Brilliance Big Bore CT and Tumor Loc- Construct precise and effective immobilization devices regarding set-up as prescribed for treatment - Assist and operated high dose rate after loading machine- Preform excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrated the ability to interact positive and effectively with a variety of people. - EMR software: ARIA, Mosaiq, Epic and Synergy- Provide high quality patient care for pediatrics, emergency, in house and mentally challenged- Observe and reassure patients during treatment and report unusual reactions to Physician- Record daily prescribed radiation dose and follow principles of radiation protection for patient and self.- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication while working collaboratively with all staff members.- Verify and preform Quality Assurance checks - Perform morning checks and warm-ups for CT/SIM and accelerators- Schedule and maintain patient’s schedule- Maintain billing using proper billing codes
