Over the course of my career in food service, operations and catering, the analytics strategy was crucial and I have seen how powerful integration of market and point of sale data can be to driving better, faster decisions that yield higher efficiency in the operations, increased satisfaction and higher revenues in the retail environment. As the way we work with and leverage data evolves, collaboration and communication have proven to be two of the skills most important to successful associate engagement and strategic relationships and customer satisfaction . We are no longer just talking about operational tasks – but innovative ways to drive behavior and better decisions, from making it easier for customers to make healthy choices, to creating innovative approaches to decreasing food waste.
