Christopher has more than 25 years of Real Estate experience with a concentration in new business development and joint venture equity. In his most recent role, Christopher was a Managing Director at Building and Land Technology. Building and Land Technology is a vertically integrated private real estate company based in Stamford, CT. Christopher opened the Dallas office for BLT in 2013 and hired an MD and two Associates. The team closed over $1.5 Billion in real estate (BLT invested equity of ~$410 million). Prior to this role, Christopher worked for GE, GE Capital and GE Real Estate for over 23 years. In his most recent role at GE, Christopher was the National Sales Leader responsible for the strategy and execution of the U.S. equity originations. Prior, Christopher was the Managing Director for the Central Region, GE Real Estate North America Equity Holdings, responsible for product development, regional originations, and managed a team of real estate professionals in four regional offices. Christopher closed over $1.8 Billion in GE joint venture equity, and $7.5 Billion in real estate purchased for the period covering 2000 – 2008. His highest volume year consisted of 37 transactions with 25 different partners for over $400 million in JV equity and $1.8MM in real estate purchased.
