Dropshirt is a technology platform for the Print and Embroidery on Demand industry. Built on AWS using a modern scalable architecture, the platform connects ecommerce stores directly to the production workflow system, including automated payments, direct shipping to their customers and white label order tracking. All this with a core focus on sustainability and net zero footprint.This enables brands with stores on Shopify and WooCommerce (and more coming soon) to offer customised collections from the complete catalogue of sustainable Stanley Stella apparel. We work with all types of businesses to produce employee merch, create brands, promote events and more on our organic cotton and recycled polyester blanks.The planet is a central stakeholder in all of our operations. We're powered by renewable energy, use 100% biodegradable packaging, and work with certified sustainable inks & embroidery threads. Dropshirt is also a proud member of 1% for the Planet, meaning we donate 1% of all sales (regardless of profit) to environmental non-profits. Through our partnership with Trees for All, we also tie our business performance to global reforestation efforts, a key nature based solution to climate change.

As part of my minor in Frugal Innovation for Global Sustainable Development with Leiden-Delft-Erasmus, two other students and I conducted feasibility for new sustainable mobility options for the city of Kampala. In this period of 10 weeks we conducted interviews with top level employees / founders in a number of sectors, both public and private.
