I have 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance, seven years as a QA Test Lead and Manager. I've also got 3 years experience as a Business Analyst. Presently, in my remote role as an Automation Engineer I maintain and improve the email and communication services' test automation.I have over 15 years of combined experience assisting Quality Assurance efforts, supervising and training software testers. In that time I've acquired hands-on experience with restful API testing, database testing, creating SQL scripts to test and research, using both PL-SQL and T-SQL. I am proficient in many SDLC related technologies, business systems analytics and reporting concepts and tools including Kanban reporting, HP-ALM and Quality Center project management and systems of records; mostly JIRA. I have primarily used the Agile software development methodology (or versions of it) with Scrum in software development project management and lead roles but I adapt and acclimate to a myriad of SDLC methodologies.I excel at multiple roles in the SDLC. I have superior communication and leadership skills which were borne within my military career but that I have fostered throughout my career in software development. I am proficient at analyzing the business' technical need to discover, garner and articulate requirements, creating testing strategies, test plans, traceability matrixes and test data, performing both manual and automated testing, leading SCRUMs, identifying issues, opportunities and KPI's, data analysis, analytics research and reporting.
