I was a part of the strategy and budgets team for IBM's controller (now CFO) James Kavanaugh. I had two main projects with a few other ad hoc assignments and meetings with senior leadership. The first project dealt with financial competitive analysis. In which, I polished the skills necessary to breakdown a firm's financial statements, pinpoint the trends down to specific line items, create a comprehensive analysis, and present to executive personnel. The second project was comprised of quantitative theory in relation to firm valuation.
