He was unbelievably good at keeping business turbulence away from the development rhythm yet at the same time keep everyone fully informed. Everyone felt involved. It is a delicate act to keep a team together, have them grow close as like family, yet shield them from the usual gamedev disruptions. Only the best can walk the tight rope and Chris really was exceptional at it. He could take a varying array of personalities and get them to work effectively together. He is one of my favorite people I have worked for and I will miss our time together in VR very much. Wherever he chooses to go next I would support his decision and encourage anyone looking for a really special leader to seriously consider his talent.
