I have been with Insinkerator for 18 years now involved in multiple positions such as:Packaging:• Packaging units, moving pallets by hand jacks, or electric pallet jacks• Quality checksShipping and Receiving:• Loading semis with finished goods• Confirming quantities and quality of pallets• Receiving parts into the system• Safety Lead for the department (making sure safety procedures were followed and up to date)Material Handling:• Delivery of parts to all departments from building to packaging• Knowledge of departmental warehouse policies and procedures• Ability to work independently on assignments without close supervision • Stockroom transactions Cycle Counting: • Inventory accuracy• Tracking down inventory discrepancies • Training employees how to correctly execute transactions And my current role as a Continuous Improvements Project Lead. In this role I have hosted kaizens, leader standard work (SOP’s), remodeling pack/build cells, restructuring material handling duties, and creating sustainable accountability processes for leads, supervisors, and managers. I have also completed an in-person class on Frontline Leadership as well daily learnings on the LinkedIn learning programs.
