I am excited for the opportunity, after completing Bachelor of Commerce (Finacial Planning), with my new employer Skybridge Financial.After 24 years for Coles Supermarkets Pty Ltd with 17 years’ experience in managerial roles across the business it is time for a change. The experience gained has developed sound knowledge across many areas of the Retail Industry which translates across many organisational types.Experienced in dealing with challenging situations, along with mentoring and motivating colleagues to embrace change. This has developed an innate capability to use initiative and take control in pressure situations, producing sound and accurate results specific to the environmental factors. My best results are achieved in a learning environment, where myself and the team I am in, are encourage to grow, learn and achieve more each day. This allows for accelerated growth and rapid development of ideas, due to the acceptance of failure as a stepping stone, not something to be avoided.Years of project management have developed excellent time and resource management, ensuring tasks are completed on time and where necessary key stakeholders are addressed ahead of time through open and honest dialogue. Additionally, creating an engaging environment, where the team around me communicate openly and honestly, creating a harmonious culture in a team environment.As part of my degree in 2019 I visited China and Vietnam, and represented the UNE Business School in the IFAMA Case Study Competition successfully winning as a member of the undergraduate team division. Completed an Indian Immersion Programme January 2020, based at O.P Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana, that provided an introduction to the Indian Law System, information on building Business relationships, and looked at the history, society and cultural background of India; All important when doing business.
