As a Research Scientist I am passionate on finding innovative solutions to problems facing internal operations and research as well as those that growers and producers face. I pride myself in being a problem solver using my excellent quantitative skills. I have a firm knowledge and understanding of micrometeorology, biophysics, and Soil-Plant-Atmosphere interactions and have had experience applying this knowledge to multiple crops and cropping systems. I am an subject matter expert in environmental monitoring using a variety of sensors to take quality measurements related to soil, plant, and atmospheric conditions. These sensors range from research grade to IoT level deployment. I am proactive in finding solutions and being prepared for unseen obstacles that I may confront while working on a project. I excel at finding ways to collaborate with others and actively seek out suggestions and ideas from others to be able to find the best solutions.
