I would describe myself as a very motivated, dedicated, and passionate individual. I excel in both an individual and team setting. In this summary I'll give a brief introduction to my job in the military, as well as some achievement and accomplishments. As a Healthcare Specialist/Combat Medic I Provide treatment to soldiers under my Physician Assistants scope of practice to include medications, immunizations, physical and mental counseling, and minor non-invasive procedures. I have worked both inside of a level 1 trauma hospital/Emergency Room and have worked in the EMS setting. I deployed for all of 2016 to an undisclosed combat location. During my year there I worked as a EMT for the army attached to the Air Force's Air Expeditionary Medical Group. I was responsible for assisting and handling Emergency Medical Activation Calls throughout my Deployment. We were on call 24/7 and had numerous experiences including Air medical evacuations. After my time in the service, I became a registered nurse and obtained my ADN. I have worked briefly with Vidant in both their ER and Urology clinic (current position).
