In November, I started work as the Production Coordinator in the Recorded Division at UNIFIED Music Group. I will be assisting in digital and physical releases for our 3 imprints: UNFD, Domestic La La, and Community Music.

In this role, I worked more intimately with the Royalty and Sync arms of the company. All metadata cleanliness fell squarely on my shoulders, so that included all digital databases at the Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC), CMRRA, ASCAP, YouTube, MRI, etc. In addition to administration for unpublished works (PAu's), I registered Published works (PA's) with the US Copyright offices. With the "Cave Sessions Vol 1" coming out August 27, 2021, under the new imprint 'Di-Namic Records', our metadata workload picked up, and cleaning up incorrect metadata from the past became essential. In addition to my work supporting Royalty, Sync, and my core work as the Copyright arm, I began to pitch ideas for commercials and artist collabs in an A&R function. Diane writes 4-5 new songs a month, and as the person who does all the back-end work for these tracks, I had the first crack at listening and crafting a pitch. With the album active, I assisted in pitch meetings for the "Cave Sessions" for potential syncs in the realms of advertising, film, and television.

This role change was a continuation of my assistant duties with the additional work coming on the metadata ingestion side. We signed with our new (at the time) sub-publisher BMG, and I was responsible for helping them ingest our songs into their database so that they could collect money internationally. This was a months-long process, and upon completion, I was tasked with finding information regarding an audit of UMPG.

As an assistant, I supported the Royalty/Licensing Department with various tasks including:- Cataloged and organized new songs that are written weekly by Diane in our internal servers- Sent and received demos, session files, bounces in various formats like RUFF, WAV, and MP3's- Managed Diane's socials on Instagram and Twitter, especially so during releases- Monitored the Diane Warren YouTube Page and the Facebook Artist Page- Designed and created digital assets for Social Media posts- Calculated Royalty Statements from Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music- Formulated and update our internal database containing our catalog of active and inactive songs- Sent the proper song Metadata to DSP's for new releases- Monitored and updated Songwriter pages on the main DSP's, PRO's, etc- Worked closely with the EA of Diane to ensure that the office runs smoothly- Worked the phones and be the first point of contact at RealSongs

I worked with the Executive Producer to provide assistance to the talent and camera crew. This includes:- Planned and organized Red Carpet media lists and arranged the Red carpet- Helped Camera crew interview and film people of interest- Coordinated and negotiated film locations with local businesses and drivers in Spanish- Booked flights and hotels to different parts of Panama as we filmed in remote locations- Kept track of all SD's and organized a running list of our shots- Assisted with the lighting of our shots and helped film B-roll- Kept track of receipts and assisted in the post-trip accounting of expenses

Redlands, Ca

Direct 30+ mentors in planning and implementing weekly leadership and academic activities for a group of 30 local at risk, low-income middle school students. Provide positive and meaningful leadership for a group of 60+ people, including trainings and meetings with our college mentors, weekly tutoring for elementary and middle school mentees, and meetings with administrators within the Community Service Learning office. Conduct weekly office hours to meet with staff and students, answer and make phone calls, send emails, and prepare documents for the week using Microsoft Teams and the Google Suite.

Redlands. Ca

Planned and collaborated with the school to host an Open-Mic night for students on campus to perform their music. This culminated in a KDAWG Coffee House event where 4 musicians played their tracks with catered food and drink from Bon Appetit. Additionally, I Co-hosted a Radio Show "Live and Covered" with Blake Dewalt that had a focus on unearthing Indie Rock. We recorded the shows each Friday on Logic X with an average air time of 40 minutes. All of our episodes can be found below.

Redlands, Ca

During my time working for KVCR, I was part of a "Writers Room" that curated more than 10 different scripts for episodes of "I Remember Television". I received Screenwriting credit for three of these episodes, and for the other 7, I helped edit them to be ready for on-air play. The process of writing these scripts involved researching the time period that these shows aired, and then bringing in compelling historical facts about the era and series.

Greater New York City Area

This nonprofit helps grassroots organizations attain funding for projects that aid their communities. During my time at Citizens, I was responsible for making sure that volunteer days with partner corporations went smoothly. We partnered with companies such as TD Bank, Capital One, Google, among others. Additionally, I began and passed the Grantee Spotlight initiative that helped showcase the community-changing work of our Grantees. Instead of just giving them money and volunteers, we gave them a voice to share their story with others. Finally, I assisted in gathering data on the last several years of Grantee projects in each individual borough and neighborhood to properly ascertain where the best fit was for potential grants.

Orange County, California Area

Conducted market research on ways to infiltrate the healthcare, auto-finance, credit union, and banking business, as well as improve the direct mail strategy of FSSI. I was tasked with creating a marketing strategy for Fall 2017-2018 that FSSI will implement when reaching out to prospective clients. Using SEO, I collaborated with the marketing team to find the best way for future clients to find FSSI. In addition to this, I wrote and edited most of the copy that lies inside of the yearly calendar which goes to all employees of FSSI.

Barcelona Area, Spain

Worked with other members on accumulating data and information to receive government funding from Spain. Additionally, I assisted in translating the website, documents/ presentations for clients in both Castellano and English. This was especially important at ISPO Munich, the largest international sporting goods trade fair in the world. Here I spoke to clients in both English and Spanish about the products that we offered. Aside from my other duties, I conducted market analysis on potential threats within the retail business/analytics industry.

Heart Cup is a startup based in Redlands, CA that facilitates charitable giving, in addition to giving NGO's a platform to connect with potential volunteers. My work has consisted of data collection and entry, outreach to inprove brand awareness, as well as advice on the proper market entry. Beta will launch in early 2017, and that is when all the data we collected will be used to drive the website.

Riverside, Ca

I worked at 1-800-GOT-JUNK for the summer between my Sophomore and Junior year. My day-to-day duties varied drastically, but mainly as a team member, I was in charge of driving from job to job throughout the day while corresponding with clients on the run. I had to effectively estimate and bid jobs at appropriate rates, as well as complete jobs in a timely manner to stay on schedule for the other clients that we served.

I worked as a Busser for the summer between my Freshman and Sophomore year, as well as during the majority of my Sophomore year. I quit working here due to my 20 credit workload spring semester, as well as my desire to develop my leadership skills on-campus with Outdoor Programs.
