I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with fellow law enforcement officers on a daily basis as a part of CARFAX: Law Enforcement Solutions. I serve as the Regional Acquisition Manager for New England, New York and Illinois areas. Prior to working at CARFAX, I spent 26 years with the Nashua Police Department. My position as the Regional Manager calls for developing long-term partnerships between CARFAX & Law Enforcement Agencies. Law Enforcement's participation in the CARFAX LE Solution allows access to the CARFAX database and its very unique & valuable investigative tools. Investigative Tools (No Cost): I. CARFAX Law Enforcement Account. Provides your agency with free access to the CARFAX database of vehicle history reports. Our vehicle history reports will assist you with vehicle theft, title fraud investigations, VIN cloning,re-plating scams and it is also an excellent tool for hit/run, and odometer rollback investigations. II.Accident Database: Investigators can search accident data throughout our system. They are also able to view original copies of accident reports which are indexed and searchable by a variety of fields III. VIN Alert allows the investigator to set an alert for any VIN or License plate of interest! All Investigators benefit from this tool. When the vehicle of interest enters any of the 76,000 vendors that work with CARFAX; dealers, service centers, gas stations, tire companies, lube centers, etc…the Investigator will be alerted via email. IV: Mobile App for SmartPhone's. Allows CARFAX reports to be run in the field by the Investigator on their phones or mobile devices. Through this partnership, agencies will increase efficiency, profits, and gain investigative access to our unique research data pool while also adding value via our Online Data Integration efforts.
