Materials Management 30 years experience with materials/logistics management for maintenance and ground up construction contracts. Work performed during that time includes. Material Manager: Start project day one to locate and set up local suppliers and contract services. Setup and maintain material tracking documentation for project purchase orders and local supplier purchase orders. Insure all areas of the material arena such as Personnel, Overtime and Meetings are covered. Maintain Client, Craft, Subcontractor and Vendor relations to meet work schedules. Report monthly performance metrics, Project closeout: return of all rental items, clean up, sell back and dispose of all excess material, turnover spare equipment to the client. Box, label and send all material records for file retention. Coordinate Material: Buying, Renting, Cost control, Scheduling, Tracking, Storage, Staging, Inventory control, Bar-coding, Update and maintain material control systems, Train new employees to operate material control systems along with other basic computer systems operations, and verify invoices. Receipt Inspection: Pipe, Fittings, Valves, Motors, Instruments, and other project material for verification to the purchase order specs.
