Cybersecurity Engineering/Analysis Lead
CurrentManage daily activities of Abacus Cybersecurity Engineering Team. Establish, incorporate and align security governance and policies with stakeholder’s mission and business objectives. Administer all aspects of the cybersecurity program ensuring security compliance and a robust security posture. Provide mentoring and technical advisory to stakeholders and cybersecurity team. Develop and incorporate cybersecurity engineering policy, security configurations, security categorization baselines, process flows and best practices. Review mission objectives, requirements and constraints to advise stakeholders on determining system’s risk tolerance. Conduct business and risk impact analysis of information data type to identify the security categorization baseline. Manage and provide subject matter expertise (SME) in support of the RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process for assigned systems. Manage the orchestration of A&A packages for the assigned customer’s networks, systems and applications. Provide risk assessment reports on developing and fielded systems in support of the RMF. Analyze enterprise architecture to identify dependencies and end to end integration of cybersecurity controls for traditional and cloud computing environments. Research, develop, analyze and implement cybersecurity strategies, controls and countermeasures by incorporating innovative technologies including cloud computing, virtualization, analytics and mobility. Interpret FISMA, DoD, FedRAMP and Service regulations, directives, and instructions. Implement RMF training for stakeholders teaching the repeatable RMF process. Advise senior leadership of current and future security risk to assist in the decision-making process with detailed reports, whitepapers and briefs.
