Lead Operations Technician
CurrentEnsuring smooth plant operation and achievement of targets and Key Performance Indicators. Responsible as LOT for shift team development and individual competency progression. Regular stand in as Offshore Team Leader, taking on higher level of responsibility overseeing all operations teams, liaising with onshore support and partners, as well as performing duties within the Incident Control Centre. Involved in a comprehensive review of the Control of Works procedure covering permits, risk assessments, isolations, vessel and confined space entry.Currently undertaking full time stand in roles and responsibilities of the Offshore Team Leader position since March 2012 Key responsibilities of the OTL include: Day to day management of the Triton plant and operations teams and marine co-ordinators.Production delivery against specified targets.Management of Control of Works through adequate assessment of risk and management of permit to work.Delivery of the requirements of the field operators through liaison with the production co-ordinator and compliance with the well information packs.Ensuring all operational procedures are being applied and monitored.Monitoring workplace safety and workforce performance through regular worksite checks, audits and appraisals.Involved in Major Accident Hazard Analysis and Bow Tie review for the upcoming Western Isles Project.
