I am Engineer. To some this is a statement of what their career path is. For me, like many others, it is an explanation of who I am as a person. I create, build, solve problems, think about all means of puzzles, constantly learn new things, and through these things live a happy life that hopefully makes other lives better.I have been lucky enough in my career so far to take part in a wider range of projects, industries, and disciplines than I ever thought I would be able to over my entire career. I have been able to participate in almost every aspect of a project from conception, design, manufacturing (including cutting chips myself), assembly, programming, install (sometimes by myself in less-than-clean facilities), and support.Through all of this, I have carried an underlying dream of designing and engineering space hardware that just maybe would help our civilization reach a little farther into the stars. Through a lot hard work, mentoring, and persistence I now get to do just that!Never stop learning. Always see the walls in front of you as a new puzzle to solve. Fervently pursue the things you love, especially if they are difficult.
