As a Flight Planner I produces flight plans for all Jet2.com routes, incorporating fuel calculations and compliance with air traffic control requirements. I work to minimise flight cost by appropriate choice of route, height and speed, as well as monitoring weather conditions and changes affecting Jet2.com routes. I play an important role in ensuring that flights are operated on time and safety is maintained at all times. I am also responsible for updating the Operations and Aircrew Teams of disruption to flight plans caused by weather or other factors.
