I am expected to respectfully greet and connect with guests through friendly conversations, assessing their shopping needs, and providing assistance at self-checkout. Efficiently scanning and bagging items, minimizing wait times, and keeping guests informed about store activities are essential tasks. We also focus on promoting the REDcard, assist guests with the Target App and fulfillment services, and handle returns and challenging situations professionally. Us as students acquired employable skills in broadcasting and television while having the option of earning certification that can be applied to long-term education solutions. With this wonderful organization we were given the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, local multidisciplinary leaders and our community partners.

The mission of On Your Mark is to provide innovative and comprehensive community-based service to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across their lifespan. As part of my experience there, I created marketing tools such as brochures, flyers, and even a branding kit for the organization, which will be used for many years to come. Additionally, I was able to gain an understanding of how a non-profit organization conducts its business and accounting.
