Principal Systems Engineer
Current➢ Standing up and leading a 15 person, multi-million dollar international Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) contract• Leading a multi-sector, cross-functional team of engineers and program managers in identifying data requirements, data transfer processes, and creation of data removal procedures from fielded assets in order to establish long term processes for reliable deliverables to Customer• Analyzing and reporting diagnostic data through technical reports to Customer on time, on a quarterly basis• Utilizing Agile-Kanban methods to track work and approvals, increase group collaboration and product ownership, and identify bottlenecks through weekly retrospectives ➢ Performing root cause analysis to identify subsystem failures that occur in the production cycle and implementing process improvements to boost aircraft availability and reduce erroneous ground aborts and late takeoffs➢ Validating requirements of autonomous aircraft systems by reviewing and cataloging Built in Test (BIT) fault codes and identifying, documenting, and presenting software and hardware anomalies found on fielded assets to Customers and integration review boards to increase aircraft reliability➢ Performing Testability Analysis on FMECAs (Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis) in order to determine BIT fault detection and isolation on autonomous aircraft failure modes at the functional system level➢ Writing basic Python scripts for data cleaning and automation of time consuming, repetitive tasks
