In an enjoyable professional career spanning 30 years, prior to establishing CPA in January 2011, I worked for several small to medium sized engineering consultancy practices and personally managed many new build and refurbishment projects. I particularly enjoy undertaking building defect forensic diagnosis work and the design of sympathetic remedial repair, stabilisation and consolidation schemes. In the last ten years, I have been motivated towards the conservation of neglected buildings, using sustainable methods and available natural materials. I have a particular passion for working with industrial sites and transport infrastructure.I have been involved with heritage project work throughout the UK, and managed several notable industrial repair projects in the NW Midlands and North Wales regions, including two that have subsequently been awarded a quality mark recognition.
