The Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that partners with the Minneapolis Heart Institute and Abbott Northwest Hospital to assist in continuing to educate and provide the highest quality of patient care.Tested accuracy and reliability of the GE Vscan Extend device in valvular disease screening in primary care settings. Investigating the efficacy of vitamin D on cholesterol homeostasis and cell proliferation in breast cancer. Impairment of cholesterol metabolism has been linked with the abnormal growth of breast cancer cells. Therefore, understanding the roles of bioactive compounds on cholesterol metabolism and cancer cell progression is important.
