- Oversaw a book of renewal business of 18,500 members while maintaining an 81% retention rate (2020).- Of 25 different teams, led all underwriters in business quoted and turn-around time for the year (2020). Resulted in a close ratio of 8.1% with 3,600 members sold.

As an underwriter I work closely with sale representatives, actuarial and market directors to drive results. Our main focus being analyzing and assessing the risks associated with providing large group insurance (Companies with 100+ eligible employees) to our customers. We are able to do this by:- Communicating/Strategizing daily with our sales department on ways to exceed budgeted sales metrics.- Collaborating with sales in order to obtain group's with lowest risk potential.- Analyzing/Reviewing group sensitive information to paint a picture of current and potential risks associated with "New Business" customers.- Create detailed customer packets which highlights customer information, profits and revenue generated if/when a proposal has sold and risks associated with each group.- Creating exhibits for sales and potential customers which creates the maximum amount of revenue for the company.- Work side by side with Underwriting Directors, Sales Directors and Sale Representatives on the retention and renewing of large group annual insurance policies.As a result of the described above, I have generated over 47.3 million in sales. Since I have started this figure has only increased exponentially each day the more I learn.

- Collaborate with the Product team to perform daily operational data management and product structure tasks.- Perform item level updates and management of data in the product system. This is done through the use of Target's two in house tools, systems and commercial tools (Oracle PDQ).-Process data collection forms, which includes managing individual workflow queues and the resolution of product errors.

- Train & supervise 10 employees in department, grossing $100,000 dollars in weekly sales. - Implement and develop storewide standards to increase customer satisfaction. - Provide daily assignments and tasks to team members in department.

- Assigned to train new employees & assist with in-store merger of 18 Rainbow stores purchased by Cub. - Transitioned from Rainbow policies to Cub policies for stocking, cutting/wrapping & record keeping.- Developed and implemented better strategies for counting and recording monthly inventory, reducing “down time”, and lowering risk of miscounting and data entry error. - Collected daily sales & purchases, entered data into Excel, analyzed & identified variances.- Communicated with warehouse & monitored vendor shipping, size, arrival of inventory & supplies.
