Served as the Global Force Management Noncommissioned officer in charge responsible for the planning, staffing, and actionable items in conjunction with the Joint Staff for the Global Force Management Implementation Guidance (GFMIG) and the Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP). Provided force capabilities to the US Army Pacific Command, Commander and the other Combatant Commands. Coordinated orders for the Combatant Commander to include support for Operations Plans, Flexible Deterrent Operations (FDO), and the Theater Campaign Plan (TCP). Completed staffing actions for the Global Force Management Boards for Field Grade Officers/General Officers participation, developed a system that safeguarded all published orders that tracked over 500 published orders that deployed in excess of 3,500 Soldiers. Additionally assigned as the Construction Surveillance Noncommissioned Officer on a $4,000,000 SCI renovation project and performed security sweeps, attended weekly production meetings, monitored and inspected all construction material. Individually recognized by leadership for going above and beyond duties assigned to ensure the project kept on schedule while ensuring the highest level of security possible.

Shaw Air Force Base, Sc

Maintained and operated the Theater Airspace Integration System for Army Service Component Command for the Central Command Region. Provided the command the ability to promote a safe, efficient, and flexible use of the airspace to meet the commands needs within the multi-spectrum battlefield. As the airspace subject matter expert coordinated airspace de-confliction procedures and provided recommendations to the command for proper airspace utilization for forward locations in Kuwait and Jordan. Planned and developed a bilateral airspace agreement between the United States Army and Jordanian Armed Forces which allowed for safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of both manned and unmanned aircraft to support the military training exercises that included the involvement of 19 partner nations. - Provided administrative and accountability services for a forward based Aviation team of ten personnel. - Managed the purchase and acquisition program for equipment and supplies. Supported these requirements for both Shaw and Kuwait with a $20,000 monthly purchase limit to ensure the success of the mission.

Supervised four Soldiers as the Joint Operations Center Brigade Air defense and Airspace Management Cell shift supervisor. Provided de-confliction between surface to air, surface to surface, and aviation assets in a highly volatile combat environment. Developed and managed standard aviation flight routes and restricted operating zones through the use of the Tactical Aviation Integration System. Received, interpreted, and disseminated daily Airspace Coordination Order (ACO), Air Tasking Orders (ATO), and Special Instructions (SPINS). Facilitated the safe and expeditious operations of unmanned systems, artillery fires, US, and coalition aircraft without accident or incident. Spoke rapidly, clearly, and distinctly communicating with aviators and provided timely coordination during several emergency situations resulting in no loss of personnel or equipment due to airspace mishaps. Coordinated aviation assets to respond to troops in contact, mass casualty evacuation, and downed aircraft. Processed and resourced over 60 Emergency Air Mission Request monthly moving mission essential personnel and equipment throughout the Brigades area of operation. Served as the Unit Movement Officer for the Brigade Headquarters Company. Coordinated and executed the successful movement of 30 containers, 14 vehicles, and all associated equipment worth over 20 million dollars, during both deployment and redeployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Served as Standardization and Evaluation Non-commissioned officer and Tower controller for deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Provided training to controllers from a variety of commands during 21 separate airfield assistance visits to support the relief in place transition between the incoming and outgoing commands resulting in a seamless transition of air traffic control operations. Trained controllers on ground control approach, precision approach radar, tower and flight following operations to support their assigned combat operations resulting in the Air Traffic Control Specialist certification of 106 Soldiers. Selected as a Liaison Officer to lead a team of eight controllers for the transition of a coalition airfield from Polish to US control. Coordinated resources to establish Air Traffic control procedures in accordance with FAA guidelines to better facilitate the airspace operations with a mix of civil, coalition, US military, and unmanned aviation operations. Controlled aircraft operating under visual flight rules but accommodated both rotary and fixed aircraft up to heavy aircraft including and similar to C-17s which required weight turbulence considerations. Responded to an inflight emergency that resulted in a belly landing of a fixed wing aircraft due to landing gear malfunction because of expedient actions with communications and crash crews, injuries and significant aircraft damage was prevented. Assisted in developing the FAA flight procedures, installation, and certification of a Non-Directional Beacon at FOB Delta’s airfield resulting in an increased flight safety for Joint and Coalition aircraft. Planned and developed a Letter of Agreement between Ali Center and an Operations Letter with the Aerostat Operations to create contingencies for operations during Instrument Flight Rules conditions.

Fort Rucker, Al

Served in positions of increasing responsibility that included Shift Leader, Training Supervisor, and Facility Chief of the Airspace Information Center. Provided flight following procedural control of rotary wing aircraft in an area encompassing 5,440 square miles of airspace to support the Army's flight school training area for student and instructor pilots. Issued position reports, safety advisors, METAR, and special weather information to pilots to ensure the separation and safety of aircraft operating under visual flight rules. Responded to and coordinated efforts in response to numerous inflight precautionary landings providing timely, accurate information that prevented potential loss to life or equipment. Provided shift supervision of six controllers while planning, training, and directing operations as the controller in charge, safely handling over 245,000 aircraft movement annually. Selected to progress as the Training Supervisor and maintained training records, monitored training progression, conducted position qualifications, and facility rating qualification training for 22 controllers resulting in all controllers receiving their Air Traffic Control Specialist ratings. Progressed as the Facility Chief because of exceptional leadership, performance, and attention to detail earning commendable ratings during two command inspections. Additionally managed the unit alcohol and drug testing and prevention program assisting the company in earing its seventh and eighth consecutive 111th Day DUI free award.

Polk Army Airfield

Earned facility rating from Warrior Control Airspace Information Center at Polk Army Airfield. Contributed to the safety of aircraft operating in the Joint Readiness Training Center's (JRTC) military operations areas during seven operational rotations, covering an area of over 198,000 square miles. Responsible for ensuring flight safety, flight following activities, and advisory notifications for aircraft operating in assigned restricted areas, ranges, training areas/sectors, corridors, routes, and temporary restricted operation zones (ROZ). Ensured range information, local NOTAMS, weather advisories/warnings, and PIREPs were received and issued to aircraft operating within the JRTC areas of operation. Coordinated with Airfield Operations on any emergencies, precautionary landings, missing or overdue aircraft under our control; implemented radio searches for overdue or lost aircraft. Ensured all end of shift records, documents and traffic count were correctly completed.

Hunt Stagefield, Fort Rucker, Al

Responsible for the health, welfare, and training of nine Soldiers as the shift leader for a tactical ground control approach radar system primarily operating at Desiderio Army Airfield. Provided instructions and guidance on installation, operations, and maintenance of an Air Traffic Navigation Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS). Issued altitude and directional instructions to arriving, departing, and enroute aircraft operating under terminal radar control, to include clearances, weather, field conditions, and safety and traffic alerts. Issued special air traffic control instructions to aviators concerning airfield facilities, emergency landing areas, obstructions, landmarks, local regulations, and observed hazards that affect the safe operation of aircraft. Coordinated with Osan Approach and Desiderio Tower to ensure aircraft separation and landing sequence. Provided real-time precise directions instructing pilots to climb, descend, or turn when sequencing aircraft. Controlled aircraft on arrival and departure operating under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), Visual Flight Rules (VFR) or Special Visual Flight Rules (SVFR) conditions providing course and altitude correction information vectoring aircraft to the final approach course and ensuring a safe landing. Supervised the cross training of 16 Korean Air Traffic Controllers on setup and operations for the ATNAVICS. Verified alignment and proper operation of the Precision Approach Radar (PAR). Exceeded job standards and contributed to two commendable ratings on Eighth United States Army quality assurance inspections.
