The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating and posting content for Nerdvana's Facebook and Instagram pages. These posts advertise current and upcoming products as well as store events.

The retail salespeople at Nerdvana are responsible for sales and store upkeep. Extensive knowledge of multiple different hobbies is highly encouraged to excel in the position. Expectations also include maintaining inventory, price updates, and store cleaning.

The Photographer was responsible for the delivery, construction, and deconstruction of a camera setup for school photography. Additionally, this role required an understanding of how to direct children and teenagers into one or more of a set of specified poses. The posing and photographing process involved identifying the subject, establishing a rapport with them, directing them into a pose, adjusting the camera angle to their height, and inspecting the subsequent photo for quality against company standards. This process was recommended to take no longer than one minute per subject.

The Rec Director was in charge of creating recreation experiences for camp attendees. The Director was directly in charge of four Rec Leaders and a team of volunteers. This team would work together to build and tear down rec fields, run events, and assure safety during all events.

The video director was responsible for the upkeep, loading-in, loading-out, and directing of the video arm of a touring production team with a focus on worship music and speaking stage performances. This role demanded familiarity and competency with a video switchboard, a com headset system, LED walls, projectors, cameras, and ProPresenter.Additionally, this role required clear communication with the Program Director, Audio Engineer, and Lighting Director to execute on creating a cohesive, excellent experience. The video director would also remain in constant communication with Production Assistants during live events, training those assistants beforehand on using ProPresenter and production cameras.

I have worked with Deer Run Camps and Retreats since May of 2014, where I have worked as a photographer and videographer on their media team.The position of photographer required a weekly quota of photos to be taken, edited, and uploaded to the camp's SmugMug page for purchase by the family of campers.The videographer position required a weekly video to be shot, produced, and uploaded to the camp's Vimeo account which showcased each week's camp experience for the campers and their families.
