In 2014, I began my higher education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in pursuit of an Aerospace Engineering Degree. After a tough, but rewarding decision I changed my major to Industrial Engineering which gave me a practical knowledge of process improvement and project management. In 2019, I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and promptly entered my first professional position at Martin Sprocket & Gear as an Outside Sales Representative. In my Outside Sales role at Martin I developed my time management, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.In 2020, I made another tough decision to shift my career path back to what I studied at Cal Poly and move closer to my family in Northern Idaho. Since April of 2022 I have worked as a Project Coordinator at Edwards Smith Construction where I have the opportunity to help create custom residential and commercial buildings by managing the project overview and tracking client selections.
