WHO AM I?I am a recent Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University graduate (Prescott, Arizona campus), whom is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineering position. My degree emphasis, was jet propulsion systems. I have experience in the design and test of aerodynamic/thermodynamic devices ranging from aircraft components and engine systems, to entire jet propulsion systems. These categories have focused around the aerodynamics, structure, and theoretic analysis of mechanical engineering.SOFTWARE USE:I am well versed in various analytical tools such as CATIA V5, Solid Works, Matlab, ANSYS, and FLUENT which I am able to utilize when processing data or designing specific system parts. I have also been a member of many teams in which I have developed not only inter-group collaboration skills, but also cross engineering discipline communication skills. In addition, I was the design team lead for the senior capstone detail design project, providing me with valuable leadership skills.OTHER RELEVANT SKILLS:Not only have I received experience in mechanical engineering analysis, I have also acquired a great deal of documentation and communication skills. I have drafted documents in many styles including technical reports, formal reports, thesis defense papers and requests for proposal. My experience as a semi-professional mechanic and engine builder has gifted me with a great attention to detail and ample hands-on experience. I implemented the lessons I have learned through my hobby into my engineering practices. I plan to use these lessons in the creation of new products and to improve existing products, particularly in the areas of ease of maintenance and/or installation.I am a well rounded individual with a powerful work ethic.
