- Perform tasks of equipment maintenance (preventive, predictive, corrective and legal)- Following the established procedures and the instructions of the area and with the available resources.- Keeping up-to-date records of completed work- Collaborating in the programming of the maintenance works, elaboration of procedures and ranges ofMaintenance, to ensure that the equipment and installations are in perfect state of operation- To conduct inspections, tests of operations, repairs and adjustments of equipment in its area and report any abnormal or irregular conditions according to procedures and instructions to ensure that the facilities are in proper operating conditions.- To diagnose and attend to malfunctions of machines and installations following the established procedures, noting in the work orders the cause and solution adopted in the resolution of the faults, so that they are in perfect conditions of operating services.- To study and propose the needs of materials, spare parts, tools and tools communicating to your superior line to ensure optimum / critical maintenance needs; Interpret plans, diagrams, diagrams and instructions corresponding to the equipment to be intervened.- To verify the safety conditions in the works in which it carries out its activities.- To perform the actions and tasks entrusted in the Protection Plans. Particularly, in specific training courses that require at all times their activity.- Ensure an adequate stock of mechanical critical parts and the parts for the maintenance that must beperformed. Elaborate the purchase requisition for any needed mechanical part or service- Manage the contractors required for performing the different maintenance activities.- Elaborate all the documentation required by the company and keep it updated.- Any other ancillary tasks assigned by the Employer to the Employee from time to time

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Continuously monitor work to ensure that progress is according to plans and advise superiorand recommend remedial action to ensure that variances are adjusted without delay- Supervise work carried out by subordinates on an ongoing basis to ensure that time andquality standards are met and maintained;- Assess work methods to ensure that labour and material wastage are kept to a minimumand advise superior of any suggested changes;- Ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety requirements laid down by law/Companydirectives are followed; bringing any shortcomings in this regard to superior’s attention andsuggesting remedial action;- Assist superior in the review of contract conditions, tender documentation, and allconstruction issue documentation issued by the Engineering Office such as but not limitedto, working drawings, purchase orders and variation orders (including site instructions);- Monitor the procurement of materials and equipment and suggest timely solutions forpotential delays and ensure follow-ups;- Ensure that all equipment and material arriving on site is put to proper use and that at theend of the contract all equipment and any unutilised material is returned to the main storesin good condition;- Ensure that the Construction Issue drawings are correctly marked during the course of theinstallation works in order that they reflect the “As Built” condition, which marked updrawings are to be handed to the Engineering Office so as to enable proper preparation ofthe “As Built” documentation;- Keep up-to-date with the technical expertise required to carry out job holder’s duties mostcompetently at all times;

Oiltanking Malta, Birzebbuga (Malta)- Day-to-day terminal operations- Assisting and coordinating Tank cleaning operations- Monthly Shift Leaders Meeting- Implementation / revision of new and existing standard operational procedures- Regular meeting with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) department- Employee's shift coordination and management- Coordination with Maintenance and Logistics department
