CurrentAn environmental health and safety specialist observes and chronicles individuals' typical behaviors and procedures to determine if these practices are safe for the individual and for the company as a whole.Communicate with the organization or public regarding the scientific, technical, or safety procedures undertakenProvide technical guidance and support coordination regarding various safety issuesOrganize workshops, conferences, and trainings to the employees regarding environmental management and safety issuesCreate, maintain, and oversee the compliance calendar for all regulatory requirements.Maintain records and logs and prepare periodic reports for review.Support development of job hazard analysis and risk assessments.Observe safety and security procedures. Use equipment and materials properly.Develop and manage EHS programs, procedures and work instructions.Report any property and/or equipment damage to immediate supervisor.
